About Our Demonstrators
Christiane loves all things to do with flowers. Her floral journey started some thirty years ago in UK, initially in western flower arranging and later in Ikebana as well. She is passionate to spread the love of floral art in all its forms. Over the years she has participated in numerous international competitions including at the Chelsea Flower Show, has demonstrated internationally and is a qualified floral art judge. For the past two years she has been the president of the Singapore Flower Club where she is happy to be able to give back some of the joy she has received through her involvement with floral art. She particularly loves Christmas designs and is delighted to share some ideas for the festive season with fellow Ikebana and Flower Club members.
Teresa has always had a keen interest in flowers and horticulture. She discovered her passion for floristry whilst attending a beginner’s course at the Singapore Flower Club, for whom she later served on the committee as treasurer and then president, each role for a two-year period, and she is still a member today. She went on further training over several years to a professional level and beyond and continues her pursuit in continued education worldwide, resulting in turning professional and opening her own company. She now works as a free-lance floral designer here and in her native UK where she returns at requests to create wedding flowers. Teresa’s passion is European style, with a love of structures and contemporary design.
Learn the art of Ikebana and interesting floral skills at workshops conducted by our talented members. These workshops are suitable for first timers and can be held at your premises.
